Our Engineering team are a leading independent provider of vehicle and infrastructure test and monitoring services, specialising in bespoke instrument installations and analysis techniques. We are at the forefront of in-service overhead line monitoring for the rail industry and have considerable expertise in testing and commissioning for the introduction of new vehicle fleets. To complement our engineering services, SRTS also provide component metallurgical analysis and material suitability advice.
Our Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) engineers provide the rail industry with business critical NDT production, consultancy and training services. We also offer independent bearing failure analysis and bearing related training support, at our dedicated training facilities, or at customer sites if required.
Our Raildata specialists have been providing professional data management services to the UK’s rail industry, its suppliers and contractors since the mid 1990’s. We offer a full suite of data management services, including the PADSnet® database, the largest single point, online data source which is widely recognised as providing industry ‘best practice’.
Our Strategic Asset Solutions (SAS) provides services for individual clients as well as collaborating in industry research projects covering a variety of areas. Through the development and application of the VTISM model, SAS also help stakeholders understand the impact of different train designs, track maintenance and renewal strategies on whole life costs. VTISM has become an important tool for the GB rail industry, maintaining a world lead in track and wheelset deterioration.
Our Project Management specialists deliver turnkey project management, for modifications to existing Rolling Stock, including the management of the Homologation process and procurement of new Rolling Stock. Current projects include the Programme Management of the implementation of Tram Train in the UK.
